This private island, a verdant haven of palm and banyan trees, endemic birdlife, and Aldabra Giant Tortoises, is home to 16 luxury thatched timber villa’s sparsely dotted along the north side of the island, sought out by the rich and famous. The interiors are characterised by dark teak wood, cane detail, bamboo lighting fixtures, and cool marble underfoot, and complement the architecture of the island which draws from a mélange of French Colonial and East Asian influence. Bright splashes of colour draw reference to the island’s plethora of flora, fauna and sea life.
